Having worked as a translator for important telecommunication Corporations both in Argentina and in USA, I am specialized in several fields such as software, hardware and human resources. I also worked for Daimler-Chrysler Argentina both as a translator and interpreter for the HH.RR. department, acquiring thus experience in the automotive field.
Since 2002 I have been working regularly for one of the largest German subtitling companies as a feature film and DVD subtitler.
As a graduate from the School of Languages, I have received intensive training in grammar, phonetics and linguistics, both for the Spanish and English languages, as well as theoric and practical training in interpretation and several fields of translation. See http://www.fl.unc.edu.ar/ for a description of the syllabus.
I live and work in Berlin, Germany, since 2000 and my wife is German. After several years of studying the language and acquiring daily life experience, I consider myself to be proficient in German to the point of having passed the DSH test (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für Hochschulzugang) at the Freie Universität in Berlin.
